Oak Clinic

Tina Long, like so many patients cared for by the Oak Clinic, refuses to let MS define her!

She was diagnosed in 1999 and has been a patient of Dr. Carrabine’s for almost 20 years. Not only has Tina taught children for 18 years at the Head Start program, but she also leads the Mighty Oak Self-Help Support Group that meets at the clinic throughout the year. This group brings MS patients together for support, education and mutual aid. Tina considers The Oak Clinic a “True Blessing” and appreciates that Dr. Carrabine talks to her in a “way that she understands.”

On December 3, 2016, Tina was awarded the Isroff 2016 Program Volunteer of the Year Award by the National MS Society. This honor is given to a volunteer who has demonstrated continued support. Her leadership and compassion is truly making a difference in the lives of others now and forever as she Gives Back to The Oak Clinic!
